In order for the system to operate as effectively as possible, oxygen is transported to the fuel-cell stack in the cathode path via the electric air compressor.
Fuel-cell systems not only require constant hydrogen recirculation, but also a continuous, needs-based supply of hydrogen from the tank. When so requested by the fuel-cell control unit, the component feeds the necessary quantity of hydrogen for the stack in a fuel-cell system.

The new “Made in Modena” engine, a traditional 90° V6, has been taken to unheard of power and torque levels and will be used for the first time on the MC20 super sportscar. It delivers 630CV at 7500rpm and 730 Nm of torque from 3000rpm with a specific power output of 210CV/litre.
