Reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions due to lower belt preload and friction losses (standard PYD function)
Reduced excitation of torsional vibrations in the belt drive due to decoupling directly on the crankshaft
The eCompressor is located downstream the turbocharger, parallel to the original connection between the turbocharger and the engine intake.
The electric power provided to the compressor wheel enables a rapid boost pressure increase during transient phases, compensating the slower response time of the turbo-compressor.
Dry disconnect clutch K0 integrated into the rotor

Creates 80 mm of additional axial design space
