The motor-pump unit is a key element for energy regeneration and damping control.
The system is suitable for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Hybrid and Electric vehicles. The damper exploits a custom-designed miniaturized assembly composed by a hydraulic motor joined with an electric generator.
An inverter controls the torque of the electric generator and extracts the electric energy towards energy storage devices. Continuous Damping Control is an additional functionality. Further potential evolution will be the active suspension.
